Accessibility statement
The Institute of Macroeconomic Analysis and Development of the Republic of Slovenia is committed to making its websites, umar.gov.si and umar.si, accessible in accordance with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act. This accessibility statement applies to www.umar.gov.si and www.umar.si.
Conformance status
The websites www.umar.gov.si and www.umar.si are fully compliant with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.
The Institute of Macroeconomic Analysis and Development of the Republic of Slovenia is committed to ensuring a positive user experience for everyone. In developing our websites, we have therefore followed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. The guidelines define three levels of conformance (A, AA and AAA). The websites www.umar.gov.si and www.umar.si conform to WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
The websites use standard web technologies (HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript). Images are provided in PNG, JPG and GIF formats.
Non-accessible content
The following content does not fully conform to WCAG 2.0 Level AA:
- Dynamic interactive charts displayed on the websites via an external web service. The information presented in these charts is not accessible to screen reader users. However, given their other benefits (adaptability to different devices, improved data presentation and easier access to a wider range of data), they have been retained on the websites.
- Most documents are available in PDF format and do not meet accessibility requirements, as making them fully accessible would impose a disproportionate burden.
- Complex data visualisations without alternative text do not meet accessibility requirements. However, in addition to an explanatory title, they are generally accompanied by a more detailed description or analysis of the content presented.
- A small proportion of older files in *.xls format are only partially accessible. Making them fully accessible would impose a disproportionate burden and could also reduce their readability.
Accessibility adjustments have been made to documents published after 1 June 2020, as these are considered the most relevant to users.

You can request an accessible versions of any documents and interactive charts by email (gp.umar(at)gov.si), and we will provide them in an appropriate accessible format.
