The working paper analyses business results of Slovenian commercial companies according to their economic activity. While focusing on changes in company performance in 2018, it also covers the period 2008–2018, paying special attention to the main characteristics of business operations and the financial position of companies, with an emphasis on factors that affect value added and competitiveness of individual activities and main changes in their structure.
