Government reappoints Alenka Kajzer as Acting Director of the Institute of Macroeconomic Analysis and Development

At its session today, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia reappointed Alenka Kajzer as Acting Director of the Institute of Macroeconomic Analysis and Development of the Republic of Slovenia, effective 6 March 2026, until the appointment of a new director following the selection procedure, but for no longer than three months, i.e. until 5 June 2026 at the latest.

Alenka Kajzer has been employed at the Institute since 1995. Between 2001 and 2025 she served as Deputy Director, and since September 2025 she has been leading the Institute as Acting Director.
