Program
Urad RS za makroekonomske analize in razvoj (UMAR) in predstavniki Konference o srednjeročnem ekonomskem načrtovanju (Conference on Meduim Term Economic Assessment - C.M.T.E.A.) skupaj organiziramo konferenco o izvajanju strategije Evropske unije za rast in delovna mesta oziroma Lizbonske strategije. Njeno uresničevanje se je izkazalo kot precej zahtevno, saj vključuje širše politične in ekonomske dimenzije. Naš namen je spodbujati razpravo o izboljšavah nacionalnih gospodarskih reform pri institucijah, ki te reforme izvajajo in spremljajo. V ospredje postavljamo teme o spremljanju in ocenjevanju reform, o napovedovanju ob možnostih delnega izvajanja reform in evropskem sodelovanju na tem področju.

Program
Prva konferenca z naslovom Institucije v tranziciji je bila organizirana leta 1997 v počastitev 50. obletnice načrtovanja v Sloveniji.
Tej konferenci je sledilo sedem letnih konferenc z enakim naslovom. Osnovno sporočilo konference je bilo, da državam v tranziciji ni mogoče vsiliti novih institucionalnih rešitev brez upoštevanja obstoječih neformalnih institucij (npr. družbene norme in ideologije) ter da je izid tranzicije močno odvisen od interesov in vplivov različnih dejavnikov, ki pri tem sodelujejo.
