Competitiveness
Strengthening the competitiveness of the economy is a priority for Slovenia to converge with more developed economies. To increase GDP, it is crucial to ensure a stable macroeconomic environment and raise productivity and thus the long-term competitiveness of the economy. It is essential to strengthen long-term factors of productivity, such as innovative capacity of the economy and human capital. Slovenia should also enhance the efficiency of the government and its institutions and create an environment that is conducive to the establishment and growth of businesses.
